LEGAL DRINKING AGE
When you place an order for alcoholic drinks with us you are, in doing so, confirming that you are not under 18 years of age. This also applies if you are buying alcoholic drinks as a present, in which case the recipient must also be 18 years or over.
The UK Government advises that men should not regularly drink more than three to four units of alcohol a day and women not more than two to three. Consistently drinking four or more units a day for men and three or more units a day for women carries progressive health risks. After an episode of heavy drinking it is advisable to refrain from drinking for 48 hours. In some situations like pregnancy, it's better to avoid drinking alcohol completely.

Vintages shown are correct to the best of our knowledge. Where we have shown two or more vintages (e.g. 2010-11), we will move to the latter vintage when stocks of the former have run out. Occasionally, high demand and low availability of particular wines can lead to unexpected further changes of vintage. If you require a specific vintage please make this clear when placing your order. If we are unable to supply it we will contact you.
To the best of our knowledge all wine bottles have a natural cork closure, unless otherwise specified.
Cases of wine are sent out in multiples of 12 bottles. Individual bottles may also be ordered.

The price of any product will be as quoted on our site, except in cases of obvious error.
It is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our despatch procedures so that, where a product's correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when invoicing the product to you.
If a product's correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before despatching the product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection, so that you have the option to consider before placing another order.
We are under no obligation to provide the product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a despatch confirmation.
Shipping And Handling
The cost of delivery to GB mainland addresses (excluding Scottish Highlands) is £8.99 PER ORDER (not per case).
Our standard delivery is from TWO to FOUR working days. However we strive to deliver as soon as possible with 80% of deliveries taking place over one-two working days.
Delivery is Monday to Friday 8:30-5:30. If you would like to receive your order outside these times or within a specified time slot please contact us as a surcharge will apply.
Parts of Scotland , Northern Ireland, the Channel Isles, the Scilly Isles and Isles of Man and Wight are allocated special postal rates, please check with us for shipping rates before placing your order.
FREE DELIVERY AND DISCOUNTS
Orders of 5 cases or more receive a 5% discount and FREE delivery (excluding Scottish Highlands, offshore Islands and Northern Ireland). Orders of 10 cases or more are eligible for 10% discount.
Special offers are excluded from these discounts.
The discount will be credited to you as soon as we've processed your order.
Orders are normally sent with an overnight carrier, who will deliver during the day, Monday to Friday. We are not able to specify the time of delivery, but you can request that the case be left with a neighbour or in another safe place if you are out. We cannot guarantee that the driver will carry out your instructions, but we will do our best to make them aware of them.
Delays may happen during the busy periods of December and Christmas so please take this into account when you place your order.

Credit Card Security
You can pay online. We accept most cards. Payment will be taken automatically at the time the order is placed and we will advise you as soon as possible if your order will be delayed for any reason.
Payments are processed through Paypal.
After you have placed your order, we'll send you an email confirming receipt of your order. You will receive a separate email confirming your online payment.
Please check your order on arrival and let us know as soon as possible if there is anything broken or missing. We will sort the problem out without fuss.
If you have not received your order by the date you have been told to expect it or within 10 days, please let us know. Please be sure to order in plenty of time before Christmas as delays are expected at this time of year.

Sustainable Wines UK do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfillment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quote the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.
If you believe that a wine is corked, in order to receive a refund you will need to send the bottle back to us with its contents so that we can verify its status.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply to any future orders.
None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to the minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site.
The Contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to the Contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
