Taste the Difference, Make a Difference this Christmas
Tulip Hambleton is a wine lover and expert based in North London. Originally from New Zealand, she has spent the last 20 years working in the retail and food and drink industries, her love of wine eventually culminating in her business – Sustainable Wines UK.
“It does what it says on the tin, really”, Tulip explains, “I wanted to find the very best sustainable, organic, biodynamic and natural wines from all over the world, and make them available to people who might not otherwise get to try them.”
As well as her love of wine, Tulip’s concept was driven by two of her passions – the environment and health – “The wines we sell are produced in a natural, eco-friendly way, and are low in - or totally free from - chemicals and sulphites. The goal for me, really, was to enhance people’s health and enjoyment and help the planet through wine!”
So why not do some good for yourself and the planet this Christmas, and opt for a truly sustainable season with one of our Christmas packages!?
Tulip’s Christmas Recommendation
This all-rounder 6-bottle collection is perfect for Christmas Day.
Begin Christmas morning with a fantastic bottle of natural Prosecco to enjoy as you open your presents. Our Casa Coste Piane Prosecco is made from 60-year-old vines in the unusual champenoise method, with no added sugar, sulphur, or yeast.
Later in the day, toast with an organic Cremant as an aperitif before moving onto the main event – Christmas Dinner! Pair your starter or canapés with a choice of sustainable white or Rosé, both from the award-winning Ohau vineyard, then enjoy a luscious, aromatic Pinot Gris with your Turkey before rounding it all off with our smooth, chocolatey Pinot Noir.
The perfect gift… if you can bear to give it away!
