NZBWN mentoring programme launch, NZ House, Monday 17 November

On Monday 17th November I attended the New Zealand Business Women’s Network (NZBWN) event to launch their mentoring programme, again in the Penthouse at NZ House in Haymarket, London.

Sustainable Wines UK had the great opportunity to provide the welcome drinks:

  • Our delicious natural Prosecco ‘Casa Coste Piane’ click here
  • Organic Pinot Noirs from Spy Valley and Walnut Block in Marlborough
  • And a sustainably-produced Sauvignon Blanc from NZ’s newest wine region - Ohau Wines on the west coast of the lower North Island, exclusive to us in the UK! click here

The Ohau Sauvignon is delicious and has a weightier mouthfeel than a typical Marlborough Sauvignon, giving it a long length and a long life well past its year of production. The Ohau wines are made by one of NZ’s leading female winemakers Jane Cooper of Matahiwi Estate in the Wairarapa.

The speakers at the event were all NZ women and all extremely interesting, and included Marise Lehto, an executive coach who had come from her home in Finland to speak to us.

I’m looking forward to the start of the mentoring programme, which is designed around peer groups of women interested in a similar self- or business development theme who will work as a group with a mentor for six months and then continue to support and mentor each other thereafter. Read more about it here on the NZBWN website.

I'm going to apply as soon as applications open so watch this space! :-)
